What will we see in Solar Eclipse 2024:

When the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth, the sky will be dark for a few minutes, as if it is night. At that time, holes will appear in the Sun, called corona, which are usually not visible due to the bright atmosphere of the Sun.  enthusiasts and scientists will be able to see some other phenomena like shadow bands, Bailey's beads and diamond rings on the occasion of total solar eclipse.

Solar Eclipse 2024: Things to note

When the moon completely covers the sun's shining rays, please do not look directly at it and keep these things away from your eyes - camera lens, telescope, binoculars, or any other optical device because these things can harm your eyes. Instead you can use specialized eye protection like eclipse glasses or handheld solar viewer. With the help of all these, you can carefully see the solar rays without any harm.
